Our Organization
SetFire Foundation, Inc. is in process of becoming a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. Our board and mentors are all passionate unpaid volunteers with one simple motivation - to help prepare our next generation of leaders.
Our mission is to empower students through personalized mentorship that fosters personal growth, enhances academic success, and builds the skills needed for a successful transition into fulfilling careers and long-term happiness.

At the heart of our work is the Sparks Mentorship Program—a no-cost initiative connecting undergraduate students with experienced mentors across industries.
Our Founder
Ted Bozarth is the founder of SetFire Foundation, channeling his passion for helping others live intentional, successful, and happy lives through mentorship. His journey began early in Michigan, where he taught computer programming as a teenager and launched his own IT consulting business in his twenties. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management, he built a distinguished career at major corporations including The Hershey Company, Miller Brewing, and Coca-Cola Consolidated.

With over three decades of experience as a management consultant and in various leadership positions, he influenced over 300 professionals within his leadership scope at several Fortune 500 companies. He developed and implemented two mentoring programs, including one with a Big Ten university partnership, designed to help develop students both personally and professionally.

As he transitioned into retirement, he faced a pivotal question: "How can I find purpose, ignite my passion, and give back in my retirement years?" This led to the creation of SetFire Foundation and the Sparks Mentorship Program to help develop people, combining his decades of leadership experience with his passion for empowering others to reach their full potential.

For him, this venture isn't about financial gain—it is his goal to gain nothing financially from it. SetFire represents the culmination of his lifelong journey of learning and his strong desire to help others live with intention and maximize their life's potential.
