Bio
My name is Sarah Bozarth and I am a BSN prepared Registered Nurse with over 12 years of experience currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through Indiana University. My clinical background includes experience in both the Cardiovascular ICU and Cardiac Cath Lab. I am passionate about advancing nursing practice and supporting the new generation of nurses as they grow.
Prior Experience
I have extensive experience mentoring and precepting nurses at various stages of their careers. This includes training and supporting new graduate nurses, as well as experienced nurses transitioning into critical care and the cardiac cath lab roles. In addition, I have served as a mentor for nursing students during their Capstone experience, helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning, evidence based practice, and real-world nursing practice.
Why Mentor?
I want to be a Sparks mentor because I am passionate about helping the next generation of nurses as they enter the profession. Mentorship plays a key role in fostering growth and helps nurses discover their path within the multitude of opportunities the profession offers. I hope to inspire future nurses to find their niche within the profession, to continue learning, and to advance their nursing practice while supporting their confidence along the way.
