My name is Katie Pastirzyk, and I am a Senior Talent and Learning Specialist. I have a background in HR, specifically in Talent and Development, and Employer Brand. I've worked for three global manufacturers and am currently at Ingevity, headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Marketing and a minor in HR. Since then, I've enjoyed growing and developing my own career in the Talent Management space and would love to help others find their passion.

Prior Experience

I was the formal mentor for our HR interns at both Swagelok and Avient. I've also led goal-setting, competency training, and development sessions for all levels of employees.

Why Mentor?

I have been lucky to have phenomenal mentors who've truly made a difference in my career and personal life. I would love to be that person for someone and help them see their full potential. From my background in talent management, I understand the importance of social learning; being that resource for someone would be beneficial to both of us! Also, being younger myself, I may have an easier time connecting with mentees and sharing experiences that I just went through a few years ago.
