Bio
I'm Jet Sabanovski and I serve as Chief Financial Officer at Maxus Operations, supporting MaxPax, MaxPax 1140, and U.S. Packaging. I bring 15+ years of experience across manufacturing and transportation, with a strong focus on financial strategy, operational efficiency, and building scalable controls that support sustainable growth.
I’m known for a proactive, go getter mindset and for translating complex financial and operational topics into practical, real world decision making. I lead with high expectations, clear communication, and genuine care for people. My favorite part of leadership is helping others become the best version of themselves by building confidence, sharpening judgment, and developing the habits that turn strong performers into future leaders.
Prior Experience
I have extensive experience mentoring and developing people through day to day coaching, structured feedback, and leadership opportunities within accounting and cross functional teams. I have led teams through faster month end and year end closes, improved reporting cadence, strengthened internal controls, and implemented process improvements that raised accountability and performance.
Throughout my career, I’ve coached employees on building executive ready analysis, communicating clearly with leadership, and thinking beyond tasks to the why behind the work. I also mentor individuals through career decisions, professional presence, and skill building in areas like financial analysis, business process improvement, and strategic planning. My approach is direct, supportive, and focused on measurable growth.
Why Mentor?
I want to be a Sparks mentor because I enjoy investing in people early in their careers and helping them connect classroom learning to real world success. Many students have the drive, but they need a trusted professional who can help them build confidence, clarify direction, and develop practical skills that employers value.
I’m especially motivated to help students learn how to communicate professionally, think critically about business problems, and turn feedback into growth. I also want to pay forward the mentorship and opportunities that helped shape my own path. If I can help a student land their first role, navigate early career decisions, and build momentum with integrity and purpose, that’s meaningful to me.
