John is a business centric savvy supply chain leader who consistently delivers superior supply chain design and execution, resulting in excellent customer experience and business growth. His unique set of skills includes Supply Chain Innovation, External Manufacturing and Digital Transformation. John is seen as a strategic partnership professional who amplifies and accelerates mutual value for both organizations. He’s a resourceful facilitator, supply chain innovator, and change agent who transforms supply chains and businesses to meet the needs of today’s customers. He is a trusted, effective communicator and orchestrator, promoting collaborative, unified, and sustainable solutions.
With over 35 years of diverse experience in Healthcare (Johnson & Johnson) and Consumer Packaged Goods (Procter & Gamble, General Electric), John is a leading expert in how to operate and transform businesses from a Supply Chain lens. His most recent roles drove transformation in how J&J MedTech collaborates with 1300 Suppliers to drive value (J&J SupplierHub®) and how the J&J Vision External Manufacturing model and strategic partnerships operate to support the business.
Prior to these roles, John spent 8 years as a Senior Director, Strategy & Innovation in the J&J Enterprise Supply Chain organization where he built a depth of expertise in Alliance Management and Supply Chain Innovation. In these positions, he worked cross functionally to develop and launch a strategic partnership playbook that resonated across all functions and businesses in J&J globally. Additionally, he led an End-to-End Orchestration sprint and made recommendations to executive supply chain leadership to transform supply chain into a more effective E2E organization, creating operating model, roles and key metrics. He also led a global Listerine ® initiative that disrupted the manufacturing model by leveraging a concentrate / dilution approach and achieved a Gartner Power of the Profession award finalist.
John holds a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College. John is certified in Alliance Management (CA-AM), Design Thinking, Change Management, Six Sigma and LEAN. He’s also a past board member in the Foundation for Supply Chain Solutions.

Why Mentor?
I really enjoy teaching and mentoring supply chain professionals. I recently retired from Johnson & Johnson and feel that I have an opportunity to take a more active role in mentoring others.
