Bio
I joined our company (Cryovac Div of Grace at the time, and subsequently Sealed Air) in June 1981 immediately after graduating Clemson University with a BS Chemical Engineering. I joined R&D and spent 36 years in various roles with my last role in R&D being VP Corporate Innovation. I moved to a business role in 2018 as the VP Global Marketing for Food Packaging. In 2019, we a new CEO was named and during a reorganization, that role went away. I became a Global Engineering Partner as part of our Engineering organization. I retired in that role in December 2024. During my career, I mentored many employees, helping them think about their career and live life on balance. I always enjoyed seeing them grow and develop.
Prior Experience
I have mentored dozens of young professionals in my 43-year career, from my backgrounds including Engineering, Food Science, Business, Finance, and HR.
Why Mentor?
My life mission is to live life with purpose, so that at the end, I will have made a significant difference and been a positive influence on others with whom I have interacted. I always learn from every interaction, and hopefully others are able to learn from me.
